Revitalised Park Hotel in Kenmare, unveils a curvaceous dining room, champagne bar, and local artistry in renovation project.
Bryan O’Sullivan returned to his hometown of Kenmare, County Kerry, in the Republic of Ireland to oversee a gentle renovation of the iconic Park Hotel. Bryan O’Sullivan Studio’s signature use of curves is evidenced by a central serpentine banquette in the dining room, which leads to a newly installed champagne bar. Parquet flooring was revealed and restored, and oak wall panelling added to lend a flow to the reception. A wealth of local craftspeople were called upon to create the new additions, such as a nearby father-and-son duo who handcrafted two new bars.
